Khaja High School, Gulbarga was established in 1958. It is located very close to Dargah Hazrath Khaja Bandanawaz (Rh) at Gulbarga. The School is recognized by the Govt. of Karnataka and affiliated to Karnataka Secondary Education Examination Board, Bangalore.
In those days there were only two Urdu Medium High School in the City. It was then the need of the hour to have a Urdu Medium School in Rauza Area of the city which one of the most backward area. This school was established in this area to attract more and more students to get high school level education and since then it is serving the community.
Facilities Available
The school has large ventilated class rooms with sufficient furniture and teaching aids. Qualified and experienced staff is available to teach the students at their best. Frequently the performance of the students are evaluated. The school has a big play ground that facilitates students to play all types of out door games. The school posses all equipments for playing various games like Volley Ball, Cricket, Tennis, Badminton etc.
Various cultural functions, elocution competitions and sports competitions are arranged on zonal level.

FREE EDUCATION. Only nominal fees as prescribed by the Government of Karnataka is charged.
Admission Details
The school has classes from VIIIth Std. to Xth Std. with two section for each class.
Fresh student are admitted to the next higher class on producing transfer certificate, character certificate and marks card of previous examination passed. Usually the admissions are made in the month of JUNE every year.
In special cases admissions are made any time during the academic year on producing transfer certificate with attendance of the previous period.
Fee for Admission
FREE EDUCATION. Only nominal fees as prescribed by the Government of Karnataka is charged.
One academic year is divided into two semesters. First semester examination is conducted during in the month of September / October. Before the semester examinations a unit test is conducted in the month of July.
Second semester examination is conducted in March / April and the second unit test in December. Grades are given according to percentage of the marks scored in the examination.
75% of the attendance is compulsory for the students. Students having less than 75% of attendance are not allowed to appear for the final examinations.
Special classes are also been conducted for various classes and special importance is given to the Xth standard after school timings.
